What is online learning?

Online learning is a unique way of receiving professional training on an aspect of the EMIS system over the internet. Click here for a short video (3½ minutes) which shows what a session looks like.

Why online?

Because you stay at your desk and our trainer stays at theirs there are no travelling costs or times to consider. This is the best way to offer you training on short topics, lasting up to an hour.

What does it cost?

Many of our online sessions are free, but a customised session will cost £110 + VAT for the first attendee, then £55 + VAT for each additional attendee.

Yes, but what are the hidden costs?

Your time. That’s all. Even the telephone call is free.

What do I need?

All you need is a computer with a fast internet connection (N3 or broadband) and a telephone. For audio you can use PC headphones with a microphone (for customised sessions or PC speakers for free sessions.

How do I book?

What if I want a personal visit?

Online training is not for everyone, even though all sessions are run by experienced professionals. If you prefer, a local EMIS Operations Manager can visit your practice for a full day or a half day - just mail Field Operations or ring 0845 123 4455.
